Christina Aguilera's Striking Weight Loss at the AMA 2013

Christina Aguilera was the ultimate showstopper on the American Music Awards red carpet on Sunday Night, Nov. 24.

Last year, when she appeared at the show, many people criticized her choice of dress. Some critics said that her dress did not go well with her fuller figure.

Now, Aguilera showed off a noticeably thinner frame in an elegant white gown. All the critics were singing praises at the improved look of the singer.

The Come on Over singer's style for that night was the Hollywood glam look. She wore a Maria Lucia Hohan dress that featured a plunging neckline and side cut-outs, E! News reported. She wore her hair in loose curls. She was in Christian Louboutin heels. Her accessories were Lorraine Schwartz jewelry and a Jimmy Choo bag.

The singer's stylist, Simone Harouche, was proud of her client's red carpet look. She even took to Twitter and tweeted: "My girl killed it!"

Later that night, the songstress sang a duet with the songwriting pair A Great Big World for the song Say Something.
