Kanye West has opened up about the kind of wedding he would like, Us Weekly reported Monday.
West and Kardashian became engaged on Kardashian's 33rd birthday on Oct. 25 at a baseball stadium. He asked for Kardashian to marry him in front of her friends and family at AT&T Park in San Francisco. The Yeezus rapper rented out the stadium for the occasion. West also used a jumbo screen to assist in his effort to convince the mother of his child to become his wife. "PLEEEASE MARRY MEEE!!!" was flashed across and a 50 piece orchestra played Lana Del Rey's "Young and Beautiful," followed by Keri Hilson, Ne-Yo and Kanye's "Knock You Down." There were also fireworks that went off.
On Monday, the Yeezus rapper appeared on Power 106 for an interview with Big Boy Neighborhood. He shared that he and Kardashian would wed next summer.
"Two words," he said when asked about the wedding. "Fighter jets."
West also teased that other men would not be able to measure up to how he proposed. He believed he had raised the bar considerably.
"I gotta apologize to the race of males for turning it up so much," he said.
The Watch the Throne rapper said that a lot of planning went into the proposal. He was pleased with how it came off overall.
"I wanted to marry that girl from the first time I saw her," West said. "I just had to wait through a bunch of relationships to finally get my chance...It's just patience. You know with certain things, you're like, 'Yo, this is what's right for me, and this is what I should be doing.' And you gotta be patient."
