Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard Married Already

Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard got married in Bevery Hills County Clerk Office on Thursday, Oct. 17, TMZ reported.

The two are parents to daughter Lincoln, seven-months-old. According to the report, Bell and Dax went to the clerk office just to get their marriage license. However, a court employee offered to marry right there and then. The two agreed and then conducted the ceremony at the nearby courtroom.

According to Ace Showbiz, Bell wept tears of joy of finally getting married as a photographer captured the nuptials.

It was a simple yet spontaneous wedding especially since the couple famously waited to get married for political reasons. The two have been together since 2007 and were engaged in 2010. They didn't get married because they said that they would not wed until gay marriage was legalized.

On June 26, the Supreme Court ruled that the Defense of the Marriage Act is unconstitutional. On the same day, Bell re-proposed to her fiancé.

She tweeted, "@daxshepard1 will you marry me? Xo #marriageequality #loveislove"

Shepard tweeted back his answer, "F**k Yes!!!!!!!!!!!...Now let's bring my big, gay marriage to @IMKristenBell to Life!!!!"
