Lea Michele's alter ego on Glee already gave him a fond farewell on the tribute episode titled "The Quarterback" on Thursday, Oct. 10 but in real life, Lea Michele is taking her time to move on from the pain of losing her boyfriend Cory Monteith who died in July, People reported.
"It's getting a little easier," a friend of the star told PEOPLE.
The 27-year-old star posted a photo of herself with Monteith on Instagram while the tribute episode aired with the caption: "Help @ChrysalisLA an inspiring org that's changing lives everyday TEXT CHANCE to 50555 to give $10#chance2change"
The source also revealed that Michele "still misses him every day. She talks about Cory all the time."
The source said that the actress has been leaning on her good friends ever since Monteith was found dead in a Vancouver hotel room. The source added that Michele "doesn't like to be alone. Her friends have really been helping her through it."
Despite several reports saying that Michele is now moving on with other guys, the source said that Michele, who was with Monteith for more than two years, isn't even ready to think about dating.
"She really struggled," added a friend in her inner circle. "It was hard to get up every morning. But now, she's doing okay."
