The Bachelor's Sean Lowe and Catherine Giudici have set a wedding date as they announced it on Monday, Oct. 14, on ABC's Good Morning America. The wedding will be on Jan. 26, 2014 and for the first time will be televised live, E! Online reported.
"Hopefully everything goes smoothly," said Lowe. "The Bachelor is such a cool experience because people at home feel like they know us and they're invested in our relationship," he added. "We have no problem sharing the actual wedding with everyone who has been with us so far."
Lowe, a 29-year-old entrepreneur from Dallas, later competed on Dancing With the Stars- asked Giudici to marry him in Thailand. His proposal was taped for the March 11 Season 17 finale. Giudici wanted a traditional ceremony as well as over-the-top reception.
"I just want it to be fun and show our love. Other than that, I know that it's going to be a beautiful wedding," she said. "We want some traditional type of ceremony that just kind of unifies us and then have a big party afterwards."
People asked them the reason they agreed to be filmed during their biggest day.
"I think it's only natural to have it on TV seeing as how our relationship started," Lowe explained. "This will be a cool opportunity to share the most special day of our lives with all the people who have been invested in us along the way."
