Kris Jenner has shared more about her separation from husband of 22 years, Bruce Jenner, in an exclusive interview with PEOPLE that was published Thursday.
Kris told the publication that she is doing the best to move forward with her life since the announcement of her split. On Tuesday, the Jenner's announced that they have been living apart for more than a year. They married in 1991 and share two children, Kendall and Kylie. They also had children from their previous marriages.
"I don't think it was the pace of life. We've always gone 150 miles per hour, and Bruce has more energy than anybody," Kris, 57, said. "I just think it has evolved. I really can't put my finger on it. We're just happier now."
Kris added that she and Bruce realized they were much happier after he moved to Malibu while she remained at their marital home. They accepted that their dynamic had changed.
"There was definitely a shift in the way we treated each other," Kris said. "We will always be the best of friends, because that's the dynamic of our relationship. We definitely get along as a family and with the kids; we're so connected in that way. We love each other."
