Seven years after their hit NBC sitcom, Debra Messing and Eric McCormack reunited at an event honouring veteran director James Burrows, who was behind the cameras of Will & Grace's eight-season, Us Weekly reported.
On Monday, Oct.7, the two posed together on the red carpet at the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences. The onscreen BFFS during Will & Grace laughed and reminisced about their time on the show.
"It's good," McCormack said upon seeing Messing, who caught the eye of many people as she wore a revealing black halter dress.
"The few times we have [gotten together] in New York, it's usually just [Debra] and I having dinner, and we don't even make a reservation," the 50-year-old Perception actor said when asked if they hag out. "We just kind of walk in, and there's always at least one waiter kind of dropping something, going, 'Am I on TV? Is this real?'"
When asked if they have any plans to do a cameo on costar Sean Hayes' new NBC sitcom, Sean Saves the World, the duo said that they are open to the possibility. "We'll see," Messing, 45, teased. "Time will tell."
"He can call us!" McCormack piped in.
The two also spoke with Us Weekly about their favorite memories on set, one of which involved, Sandy Flowers.
"She was always serving ribs and stuff, and it was like, 'Sandy, it's a gay show. We have to be all slim and stuff,'" McCormack recalled. "And she said, 'Oh, I'll do salad tomorrow.' And I said, 'Great.' And there was this salad with this warm dressing, and I said, 'That's gorgeous. What is this?' She said, 'It's just bacon fat. It's really simple -- just bacon fat. Warm bacon fat.'"
