Kim Kardashian Turns Down Kanye West Marriage Proposal?

Kanye West proposed to Kim Kardashian but she turned him down, The New York Daily News reported Tuesday.

Sources told the publication that the Yeezus rapper has been eager to wed the 32-year-old socialite. However, she has been matrimony shy given her history. Kardashian has been wed twice and her last marriage to Kris Humphries famously ended after 72 days. She is said to be hesitant about becoming West's wife despite the fact he has been enthralled with her for years.

"Kanye is obsessed with her," a source said. "He always has been. He has begged her to get married a few times, it's Kim that's saying 'not yet.' "

The insider also added that Kris Jenner has been pushing her daughter to wed for a third time. Jenner allegedly felt it looked bad for the couple not to be married since they share a child, four month old North. Jenner has already gone on the record to speak of her fondness for West. Last week, she told television host Ross Matthews that West was a great boyfriend to her daughter.

"I love him so much," Jenner said, "and he's such an amazing boyfriend to Kim and a great dad and a wonderful person."
