Padma Lakshmi, 43, Looks Hot in Bikini

Padma Lakshmi might be known for cheering on culinary masters to perfection on the show Top Chef but she showed that she doesn't eat that much when she showed her flat abs on the beaches of Hawaii during the weekend, Us weekly reported.

She looked sexy in a vibrant red bikini and shades while walking through the surf.  The 43-year-old star was having some bonding and relaxing time with daughter Krishna, 3, after the Top Chef: New Orleans premiered on Oct. 2. 

Lakshmi is a single mother so she hasn't had the easiest time. The biological father of Krishna, venture capitalist Adam Dell (who is the brother of Dell computer founder Michael Dell) filed for full custody after a paternity test proved that he was the father and not Teddy Forstmann, then-billionaire boyfriend of Lakshmi.

The lawsuit was settled in court. Krishna's full name was changed to Krishna Thea Lakshmi-Dell. Dell was also given extra custody as well as visitation rights. Even though the court awarded Dell rights to her daughter, Fortsmann continued to raise Krishna as his own until his death in November 2011. In fact, Fortsmann left a substantial trust fund to Krishna. 

Since Fortsmann's passing, Lakshmi has not been linked to anyone else. In fact, she seemed to be focusing her time on her daughter and show.

"I usually gain 15 pounds in the time it takes for us to shoot Top Chef, and it takes me double the time to lose it," she recently told Hamptons Magazine.
