Khloé Kardashian and Lamar Odom Split May Be 'Unavoidable', Sources Say

Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom are headed for a split that may be inevitable, PEOPLE reported Wednesday.

Sources connected to the couple said that Kardashian was close to reaching her breaking point. The couple's relationship has been strained by Odom's alleged infidelity and drug use. The two celebrated their four year wedding anniversary separately last week and it may have been their last one.

"She just doesn't know if she can work this out," a source said.

Another source added that many were expecting for the estranged couple to split for good. They have been living apart for the past several months. Kardashian allegedly told her husband to get help or else their marriage would be over. Odom has not responded to her ultimatum.

"It doesn't seem like a reconciliation is any closer to happening. It's like the situation is just too far gone at this point for a split to be anything but unavoidable," the source said.

Sources said that Kardashian was still reeling over what has happened to the once happy state of her marriage. She had believed her life would be different at this point.

 "Two years ago, Khloé thought they'd be married with two kids," a source said. "There's still a lot of uncertainty."

On Wednesday, Kardashian referenced her woes on Twitter in a series of tweets.
