Amanda Bynes's Mother Breaks Her Silence

Amanda Bynes' mother has spoken about her daughter's condition and has denied most of the claims reported by the media according to PEOPLE.

Lynn Bynes, 66, was granted legal control over her daughter who has spiraled out of control in the past few months.  Amanda was arrested and hospitalized for her increasingly bizarre behavior this past summer. Lynne said that her 27-year-old daughter would get through this difficult time in an exckusive statement to the publication on Wednesday.

"I would really like everyone out there to know that almost 99 percent of the things written about my daughter in various media outlets are false or misleading," Lynne said.

Lynne added that there were only reliable persons to trust.

"Unless it's a statement issued by our family attorney, Tamar Arminak, please take everything you read about Amanda with a grain of salt," she said.

Amanda is currently receiving treating at a Malibu facility. However, Lynne would not specific what Amanda is being treated for. She also pushed back against assertions that have circulated in the press.

"Please know that neither myself or other family members have ever released any information regarding her treatment or diagnosis. We truly believe in keeping our daughter's situation private for now," she said.
