A judge has ruled that Bethenny Frankel and soon-to-be ex-husband Jason Hoppy can no longer spy on each other, TMZ reported Friday.
Sources told the site the former couple believed each used recording devices to spy on the other. Frankel believes that Hoppy has gotten into her emails and recorded her while she has been at her office. Allegedly, her employees have also been subject to the intrusion.
A judge released order that any such activity stop. Both are prohibited from using recording devices against the other, intercepting emails and spying on each other in any way. The nanny is also not to be spied against. The site reported that the judge gave the warring exes until October 15 to turn over all material.
It has been a contentious split for the couple who announced their breakup last December and filed for legal separation in January. Sources have said that Hoppy believed he was just used by Frankel as a sperm donor.
"During a recent argument, Jason accused Bethenny of using him as a sperm donor in order to have Bryn. Jason was pushed over the edge because Bethenny is going forward with her plans to win sole custody of Bryn," a source said.
