Julia Louis-Dreyfus and Jerry Seinfeld reunited on the red carpet. The actress was at the New York premiere of her new film, Enough Said, on Monday, and her former Seinfeld costar Jerry Seinfeld supported her, Us Weekly reported.
Louis-Dreyfus have been pretty busy in the TV industry. She has a leading role on HBO series Veep. She also had leading roles on the ended CBS show The New Adventures of Old Christine. But the film Enough Said is her first return to the movies since her last one in 1997, Deconstructing Harry.
The 52-year-old actress wore a simple black high-collar gown with her hair pulled back. The 59-year-old Seinfield wore a dark T-shirt, jeans and blazer. Seinfeld ended in 1998 but the two have always been close through the years along with Seinfeld alum Michael Richards and Jason Alexander.
When asked if she would guest on Seinfeld's web series, Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee, Louis-Dreyfus said she was interested.
"I think that show is so fabulous," she told The Huffington Post. "I absolutely love it. Maybe. We'll see. We haven't had that conversation. If he asked me to do it, I'd love to do it."
The movie, Enough Said, is the story of a single mom played by Louis-Dreyfus who falls in love with fellow single dad Albert played by the late James Gandolfini.
"The interesting thing is that James is really much more like Albert in this film than he ever was Tony Soprano," she said. "He's not a Mafioso type. He is very much a gentle giant of a man, as depicted in this movie."
