Gia Allemand's mother is casting blame for her daughter's suicide, Us Weekly reported Wednesday.

Donna Micheletti appeared on the Dr. Phil show on Tuesday. She discussed her daughter's August suicide. She felt that Allemand's menstrual cycle and estrangement from her father, Eugene Allemand, pushed the 29-year-old to her breaking point.

Micheletti said that father and daughter had been arguing. Allemand was also consumed by the belief that her boyfriend, NBA player Ryan Anderson, was cheating on her. It proved to be too much for the Bachelor star. Allemand called Micheletti before she committed suicide.

"She just said, 'I'm so tired of being hurt,'" Micheletti said. "I can't do this anymore.'"

Micheletti then tied in Allemand's menstrual cycle into her fateful decision to take her life. She felt that Allemand was overwhelmed by her hormones.

"At that point, that day, with how she felt with her menstrual cycle, she could not see clearly," Micheletti said. "And I knew that's happened to her. I was trying to talk to her and be careful what I say because I didn't want to upset her more and I was nervous."

Micheletti persisted on her rationale when Dr. Phil challenged her assertion. She remained steadfast in her reasoning.

"Yes, like night and day," Micheletti replied. "All the sudden something would click in there, and she would say, 'This isn't right. He doesn't love me' . . . Because of her insecurities inside herself."
