Emily Blunt and John Krasinski Expecting First Child

Emily Blunt and John Krasinski are expecting their first child, PEOPLE reported  Wednesday.

A representative for the actress confirmed that the couple will soon be parents. A due date was not given for the pair who married in July 2010. They became engaged in 2009. Before he became romantically linked to his future bride, Krasinski described what he was looking for in a partner.

"It's not about celebrity or not," Krasinski told Glamour in August 2007. "It's all about, do you have that 'girl in a cardigan' in you. You gotta have that."

In April, 30-year old Blunt said that meeting her husband changed her life. She opened up to InStyle about what Krasinski meant to her.

"When I feel the support I have from him, I feel invincible. There's someone behind you on your good days, and someone in front of you on your bad days," she said.

Blunt also expressed excitement about their future together. She did not know what it held but she was excited for it.

"Whatever those good things are, I don't even know," she said. "But I am a hopeful person."
