Diane Kruger shared some of her best style secrets that have made her the face of Chanel skin care.
The star is the DuJour magazine August cover and related how she has been able to stay in such prime, physical shape. The magazine also got Kruger to explain how her relationship with Chanel came about. They also included behind the scenes footage of her Chanel skin care ads.
"I've had a bond with the house since I was 15. My first shoot as a model was for [designer] Karl Lagerfeld!" she said. "I immediately fell under the charm of his kindness and his sense of humor, and, of course, our German roots brought us closer."
The 37-year-old said that she had no desire to return to her 20's. She was comfortable in her skin at her present age. She was no longer letting insecurities get the better of her.
"I would say that I'm kinder to myself," she said. "Even though I loved being 20, I'm not nostalgic about my beauty at that time ... If I'm happier now, then I'm more beautiful than I was before."
Kruger said she was finally able to accept herself the way that she is. She did concede that she did not like going to the gym to maintain her svelte shape.
"I'm not really athletic. I hate going to the gym. Exercising only makes sense if I get pleasure out of it. But pleasure comes from real life, not from staying in a bubble," he said.
