Miley Cyrus and Robin Thicke’s VMA Performance: Too Raunchy?

Miley Cyrus certainly caught the attention of the crowd when she stripped down to sing Blurred Lines with Robin Thicke at the VMAs, according to Us Weekly.

Before that she danced sexily with teddy bear stuff toys for her performance of We Can't Stop. Then, the duet of the two happened and it can be considered the most shocking performance of the night.

Cyrus emerged from the stage inside a giant teddy bear. She wore a one-piece swimsuit while she sang We Can't Stop.

Cyrus does not hide that she loves twerking but who could ever imagine that she would twerk for Thicke. She arrived at the 2013 MTV VMAs wearing a bejewelled outfit. When it was time for her performance with Thicke, she stripped down to a nude-colored bikini outfit and did some seriously dirty dancing. Cyrus twerked and gyrated.

Some people loved Cyrus's performance as they cheered for her but some of the people in the audience was captured in video looking shocked.

"They're friends and she loves the song. It's amazing. She comes out of a giant bear wearing a very provocative outfit," an excited friend told Us Weekly.

Earlier in the day, the two tweeted about the show but didn't give any hint about their duet.

20-year-old Cyrus wrote 'Today's already the f***ing best day ever! Just wait till VMAs tonight' while 36-year-old Thicke added 'Who's ready for my performance at the @MTV #VMA's tonight? #VoteThicke.'
