The blink and you missed it reunion of N'Sync will have to do for fans as there will be no new album or tour, Radar Online reported Monday.
The former boy band briefly reunited at the Barclay Center on Sunday. JC Chasez, Lance Bass and Chris Kirkpatrick joined Justin Timberlake during his 16 minute long performance at the VMA's. They sang part of their hit, Bye, Bye, Bye before leaving the stage after only a few minutes. Timberlake, the breakout star of the band, was being honored with the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award. He said he shared the win with his former bandmates but there will be no formal reunion according to Joseph Fatone, Sr., Joey's dad.
"People are hyping this [performance] as to mean like next month they'll go on tour, but there's been no talk of it," Fatone Sr. said. "I don't think they should pump this up as much as they are doing. It's not like they're going on tour."
Fatone Sr. said that there would no permanent reunion between the members. The Barclay performance was a one night only occurrence.
"Yes there are still fanatical fans who hope for one day that *NSYNC will get back together, but the truth is that they are all doing their own thing now," he said.
