Chris Brown will not be charged with allegedly assaulting a woman in a nightclub, TMZ reported Monday.
24-year-old Deanna Gines accused Brown of violently assaulting at a nightclub in June. Gines claimed that Brown shoved her to the ground at Heat Ultra Lounge which left her gravely injured. However, Brown denied the allegations and the O.C. nightclub denied that the attack happened. They insisted that Gines tried to rush to the stage and was stopped by security. Furthermore, there was videotape footage of Gines walking around without any injury.
The Anaheim City Attorney decided not to pursue formal charges because of lack of evidence. Gines still has a pending lawsuit against Brown but he will not have his probation compromised. Last week, the Fine China singer went on a Twitter rant about being targeted by the legal system.
The 24-year-old singer took exception to being ordered to perform 1,000 hours of community . He alleged that the district attorney involved in his case was a racist who was treating him unfairly because he was black. Brown has the option of beach cleanup, highway cleanup, graffiti removal or general maintenance work to satisfy the terms of his probation. In 2009, he was convicted of beating ex-girlfriend Rihanna. His probation is scheduled to end in August 2014.
