Kelly Clarkson Eloping with Brandon Blackstock For 'One Reason Only', Not Pregnant

Don't congratulate the first American Idol winner yet as Kelly Clarkson took to her Twitter today in order to deny the rumors that she's already pregnant with her fiancé Brandon Blackstock.

The pregnancy rumors seemed believable especially since the singer had just announced that she doesn't want her wedding plans anymore and decided to elope instead. However, she made things clear in order to avoid confusion, according to Us Weekly.

"FYI ....Brandon & I are getting married & no I am not pregnant. We are eloping for one reason only. We both want an intimate ceremony," she tweeted.

The Stronger singer had originally made plans to get married with her beau in October but she also announced that they had taken a simpler way to marriage.

"We are so busy that we finally just came to terms the other night and were like, 'So, we change our minds and we want to elope," Clarkson told People. "We just got so overwhelmed by it-the decisions."

She added, "Our whole life is a celebration. That's what we kept laughing about. We don't need another day where we throw a big party. Our lives are so in the spotlight all the time. Everything is such a spectacle, we were like, 'We should rather have an intimate moment that's special."

Earlier, she also said that she's "over" the whole wedding thing. "It's so overwhelming. We're just doing a lot: touring and the wedding and the Christmas album, so I'm over the wedding part."
