Kanye West Declares Kim Kardashian 'Joy' In Life [VIDEO]

Kanye West declared his love for the mother of his child and girlfriend Kim Kardashian, PEOPLE reported Thursday.

West is scheduled to appear on the season finale of the Kris Jenner Show. The Watch the Throne rapper told Kardashian's mother just how much she has come to mean to him. He also addressed the frequent criticism levied against him because of his relationship with the 32-year-old Keeping Up With the Kardashians star.

"I could have people saying, 'This is going to damage your credibility as an artist or as a designer, and I say, 'I don't care. I love this woman,' " West said. "Or someone could say, 'Everyone knows you don't like paparazzi. Why would you be with this person?' And I say, 'I'm being with this person because I love this person and she's worth it to me.' "

West also told Jenner that the recent death of his grandfather, Portwood Williams Sr., as one of the reasons why his commitment to Kardashian is so strong. Williams died August 10 at the age of 98. West said that his grandfather was a man of principle.

"His whole thing was never about money, it was never about popularity. His whole thing was joy. Just joy, like having joy in his life. She's my joy and she brought my new joy into the world," he said.
