Lady Gaga will open up the MTV Video Music Awards and she has promised to put on a spectacle, Just Jared reported Wednesday.
Gaga appeared on radio station Z-100 in New York and shared what the fans could expect at the show set to air on Sunday. She will open the VMA's with the first live performance of her new single, Applause.
"Well, yes, I'm dancing and what you see in the video is where I am now with my body," Gaga said.
Gaga added that she would push herself to the limit if it meant that her fans would be pleased. She would not settle for anything less.
"I'm dancing 'til my feet bleed every day to make sure I give the fans a performance that they won't forget," she said.
Gaga has been renowned for her previous VMA performances such as Paparazzi in 2011 in which she dripped from blood. During the interview, she also teased what her fans could expect from her forthcoming album, Artpop. Her third studio album is due November 11.
"You can stop, of course, and you can shuffle if you like, but I designed it so the tempos really feel like you're at the nightclub," Gaga said.
