Kelly Clarkson's Really Excited About Being Mrs. Blackstock, Strict Stepmom

After being a single lady for six years, Kelly Clarkson is madly in love with Brandon Blackstock and apparently she's over their wedding already.

Kelly Clarkson is a Grammy Award-winning singer and the lovely bride-to-be is extremely proud of being a stepmom.

With only two months left before she marries her fiancé Brandon Blackstock, Clarkson is already preparing for the role she will play in Blackstock's children.

 "I have a 12-year-old and a 6-year-old now ... after being single for six years," she said during an interview for "On Air with Ryan Seacrest" Tuesday, August  20.

"We all live together and everything. It's so different, but it's perfect," she added. "They're awesome, and I actually really dig the mom thing."

However, Clarkson is serious with being the mom of the family. She is loving and caring to her stepchildren but she is also strict.

 "I'm quick to go, 'I told you not to touch that!'" she admitted. "We all work really well together, but I'm totally my mom. My mom was a hard mom. I'm probably that mom."

Clarkson and Blackstock are set to be married on October 20. Even if their upcoming nuptials is an exciting event, Clarkson is already over it.

"I'm so over it. It's so overwhelming," she said. "We're just doing a lot: touring and the wedding and the Christmas album (out Oct. 29), so I'm over the wedding part."

But the 31-year-old singer can't get over how happy she is with her soon-to-be husband.

"Brandon's totally the one," she said in the February issue of Cosmopolitan magazine. "I've never been so happy."
