Lindsay Lohan talked about alcohol, cocaine and Adderall during her anticipated interview with Oprah Winfrey on August 17.
"I feel really good. It's strange being confined for three months straight and then try to acclimate into real life," the Canyons star began. She was sent to the rehab by the court for her case of reckless driving and lying to the police.
She also said in the interview that she wanted to have peace of mind amidst the chaos she was experiencing.
"I came into it just really craving more spirituality, really open and ready to get really honest," she shared. But the 27-year-old star took a long time to realize that she wanted to change her lifestyle.
She opened up about how she felt with the court decisions she had in the past, "I don't think the embarrassment was as prominent as the shame and the guilt."
The Mean Girls star's downward spiral began when she moved to Los Angeles as a teenager. The former Disney star hang out with the wrong crown and eventually became addicted to alcohol.
"That was a gateway for me for other things. I tried cocaine with alcohol," she said.
Now, Lohan hoped to have a comeback with her career. In the interview, she was asked what she wants the most right now and she answered:
"To get the things that's made me the happiest in my whole life back, which is just work really hard and stay focused and prove myself in the way that I did before in the past and lost. I have to regain the trust of people in my career that has their doubts."
