It was a very busy night for Harry Styles at the Teen Choice Awards 2013 and not just because his twerking caused the internet to melt down.

One Direction opened the event with a performance of their new single Best Song Ever before sweeping four different gongs all through the night including Choice Summer Tour, Choice Group, Choice Single (Live While We're Young) and Choice Love Song (Little Things).

Styles sat alongside partner in crime Ed Sheeran when he was called and encouraged to stand up and twerk like nobody else was in the audience and there were no cameras recording his every movie.

It was so fast but anyone can watch the video to fully appreciate what the hype is all about.

Within seconds of the 1D singer giving his own version of twerking #HarryDroppedThatThunThunThun was trending worldwide on Twitter.

Shortly after, Styles, 19, wrote on Twitter: "Note to self. Don't 'twerk'."

He also collected some individual awards such as Choice Hottie and Choice Smile.
