Ben Affleck visited Lindsay Lohan while she was in rehab to discuss a possible movie role according to a report published by RadarOnline Monday.
Earlier in the summer, there were reports that Lohan was being considered for a role in Affleck's upcoming film, Live by Night. A source told the site that the Academy Award winning director discussed the possibility with the Mean Girls start while she was in court ordered rehab at Cliffside Malibu. A former patient at the facility confirmed to the site that Affleck was one of Lohan's visitors during her rehab stint.
"Ben came to visit Lindsay while she was at Cliffside to talk about the possibility of a role in his movie," the former patient said.
The source, who did not provide their name, said that the 27-year-old was excited about the opportunity. She also allegedly described what the role would entail.
"Lindsay was excited about the opportunity, telling me that she was going to have dark hair in the movie and would have an Irish accent," the source said.
The source said that visit took place a few days before Lohan's July 2 birthday. Lohan apparently told the former patient that former addict Affleck wanted to check in on her. However, the insider did not believe all of Lohan's account of events.
"She tried to tell me he was being flirty with her, but that's just Lindsay's way of embellishing because she constantly needs attention."
