Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth: Couple Act Like Strangers at 'Paranoia' Premiere?

Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth acted like strangers at the Thursday premiere of his new movie, Paranoia, Us Weekly reported.

A source told the publication that the couple, who have battled break up rumors, barely interacted with each other. They smiled for the cameras in their first red carpet in more than 14 months but did not act like the picture of happiness. They didn't appear to be a couple in bliss or one that is engaged despite Cyrus wearing her engagement ring.

"Miley and Liam acted like they didn't even know each other the entire night," the source said. "She was wearing her ring but they acted as if they were strangers."

The source noted that Cyrus and Hemsworth exchanged kisses, but described it as awkward.  It was noted that neither of them seemed into it. Hemsworth also declined to comment on his personal life. He explained why at the premiere.

"On Twitter, I don't share anything personal. I try to keep as much of my personal life to myself. I don't feel the need to go out and show the world what's happening in my life every second," he said.
