Beyonce Debuts Pixie Cut [PHOTO]

Beyonce debuted a pixie cut on her Instragram late Wednesday.

The 31-year-old superstar unveiled her new look, a short crop do, to her many followers and the world. She posted three new pictures of her brand new hair. However, she did not offer a caption or any explanation as to why she decided to make the change to her long locks.

Although, in July, the singer had an incident with a fan. Her hair became entangled with a fan during a performance in Canada as she belted out her hit song, Halo. She later took to her website and poked fun at the encounter with the fan.

It is a stark departure from the flowing blonde weave that has been her trademark style for many years. The new style came on the heels of the final show of her 'Mrs. Carter' summer leg tour which ended at the Barclay Center in Brooklyn on Tuesday.
