Usher's Five Year Old Son Hospitalized in ICU After Pool Accident

Usher's son Usher Raymond V was hospitalized on Monday in Atlanta following an accident in the superstar's pool, TMZ reported.

Sources told the site that the 5-year-old was laying with his aunt near Usher's pool. Apparantly, a toy fell into the pool and the boy went into the water to retrieve it. However, the little boy then got his arm stuck in the drain. The aunt and a maid tried to help the boy but couldn't. Both screamed for help and two men came to the boy's rescue.  

Usher Raymond V is reportedly in ICU at an Atlanta hospital.  Sources also told the site that doctors are performing tests. Thus far, it appears as though the boy will make a recovery. Usher and his ex-wife, Tameka, are at the hospital with Usher Raymond V. The former couple also shares another son, Naviyd.

Last year, Tameka lost another child because of a freak accident involving water. In July 2012, her son Kile Glover, from a previous relationship, died after a personal watercraft crashed into him at Lake Lanier. Jeffrey Simon Hubbard was charged in connection with the death and pled not guilty to first-degree homicide by vessel in March.
