Jenelle Evans Expecting Second Child; Is She Still Taking Drugs?

Jenelle Evans is expecting her second child.

Star Magazine first reported the news of the "Teen Mom" star's pregnancy with new husband Courtland Rogers. The baby is due in early September.

Both Evans and Rogers have children from previous relationships. Evans, of course, has a toddler named Jace who lives with her mother, while Rogers' daughter JaJa lives with his ex-girlfriend, Taylor.

"She thinks if she can prove that she's a good mother, she can get Jace back," Rogers told Radar.

The MTV blog ACT confirmed the news that Evans is expecting.

"I missed a few birth control pills and found out I was pregnant at a doctor's appointment," Evans said. "I was really surprised."

According to Hollywood Life, Evans found out she was expecting when she went to the doctor to get medicine for her bipolar disorder. Since then, she claims she has not taken any drugs, not even her bipolar meds, but Taylor apparently disagrees with this sentiment.

According to idigitaltimes, Rogers' ex tweeted on Wednesday, "Okay I know she's pregnant just because she pregnant does not mean she's clean. Also she's 6 weeks pregnant and she has been doing drugs I know but hopefully she knows she pregnant she can stop for the baby. But its really hard to quit cold turkey I been going through this with Courtland since I was 14 ... he hasn't stopped either soo if she wants to do right she can't have Kourt still getting high around her."

Evans shared her sonogram photos with RadarOnline. The couple told the website that they are hoping for a girl and would name her Audriana.

"I know a lot of people will say we're not ready, or judge me from my past. I want to prove to everyone that I can do this," Jenelle told MTV Act. "This wasn't planned, but it happened so we're taking it as we go. Courtland and I are happy and excited now. We have our own place, we're married, and we're both working. We know having a child can be difficult, but we're going to do our best."

Despite what Evans said, there is plenty of evidence that she is not ready to have another child. The former teen mom has faced a slew of legal issues in recent years. The Daily Mail reports that Evans and her ex, Gary Head, were jailed back in June after a fight. She also reportedly went to rehab after her mother caught her using heroin, per RadarOnline.
