Matthew McConaughey And Camila Alves Announce Birth Of Third Child

Matthew McConaughey and wife Camila Alves are ending 2012 with some exciting news...the birth of their third child.

McConaughey, who starred in "Magic Mike," took to his website over the weekend to share his big news and growing family with fans. The 43-year-old actor posted that his wife gave birth to their child on the morning of Dec. 28. So, what did the couple name their new bundle of joy? Livingston Alves McConaughey!

According to Nameberry.com, the name Livingston is of English origin and means "dear friend's place."

Livingston was born at 7:43A.M. on Dec. 28, and was 21 inches and 9lbs. McConaughey concluded his post with: "Bless up and thank you for your well wishes. Happy New year, and just keep livin, Camila and Matthew McConaughey."

Matthew McConaughey and Camila Alves were married this past June, reports ABC News. The couple already have a four-year-old son named Levi and (an almost) three-year-old daughter named Vida.

Alves tweeted on Sunday evening, "In lieu of Holiday, birthday, or baby gifts...let's help others w/ donations for #Sandy, #Haiti relief & @jklivinFNDN!"
