Jennifer Lopez Lawsuit Dismissed; $20 Million Countersuit Against Hakob Manoukian Dropped

Jennifer Lopez's lawsuit against former driver Hakob Manoukian was dismissed in Los Angeles Superior Court on Wednesday. Lopez's lawsuit was a $20 million countersuit filed against Manoukian after he allegedly told J.Lo he would go public with some of her personal secretws if she didn't pay him $2.8 million. Manoukian has a pending suit agaist J. Lo on the grounds he was forced to resign after J.Lo's manage, Benny Medina, verbally abused him.

In the suit, Manoukian claimed that Medina "would often rip him for the way he dressed, cussed him out in public and told him he could not speak English well enough," according to TMZ.

Jennifer Lopez's lawsuit against Manoukian was meant to show the court that he was " a disgruntled employee who chose to quit," said Medina.

Lopez allegedly agreed to pay Manoukian $200,000 a year and his lawsuit is based on recovering wages he claims the star promised him. He started working for Lopez in 2005 but resigned in 2011 after the bullying from Medina.

The only legal recourse for J.Lo now is if Manoukian goes through with his alleged threat and starts publishing stories that reveal private, personal information about J.Lo. It's not known if he agreed to sign any paperwork prohibiting him from doing a tell-all book or interview.

Lopez has been in lawsuit land before.

Not to mention the fact that "Jenny from the block" didn't actually go back to the block to film the commercial, and was instead filmed around Los Angeles while a B-team filmed shots of a Fiat in the Bronx.
