Anne Hathaway dressed to impress at the New York premiere of "Les Miserables." The actress, who stars in the musical as Fantine, a poor factory worker and prostitute, dropped jaws in a bondage inspired outfit.
Hathaway wore a very goth Tom Ford dress to the New York premiere. The black taffeta dress featured a cape, thigh high slit and the real eye catcher..."50 Shades of Grey" inspired boots. The bondage-esque boots feature numerous buckles and reached beyond her knee to her upper thigh.
To top off the look, Hathaway rocked a deep side part with her hair swept over and blood red lips.
Her New York premiere look is getting mixed reviews, but is a definite upgrade from her white pearl Givenchy dress from the London premiere. However, the Givenchy dress does have one leg up on the Tom Ford dress. Hathaway did not have a wardrobe malfunction go viral while wearing the pearl studded gown at the London premiere. A photo of the "Les Miserables" star began circulating online after Hathaway tried to gracefully exit her car and accidentally flashed the paparazzi.
Not wearing underwear at the time, Anne Hathaway reportedly told Vanity Fair that the experience was "devastating."
"I was getting out of the car and my dress was so tight that I didn't realize until I saw all the photographers' flashes," she explained. "It was devastating. They saw everything. I mean I may as well have lifted up my skirt for them."
"Les Miserables" hits theaters on December 25.
