Kim Kardashian Takes Kuwait To Promote Peace … J/K! It’s About Milkshakes! [VIDEO]

Kim Kardashian is on a three-day trip to Kuwait and Bahrain to educate herself about the Middle East (seriously) and also promote the opening of two Millions of Milkshakes stores in the Middle East.

The West Hollywood-based sweet shop tapped Kardashian to promote the openings and the reality star is using it as an opportunity to learn about Middle Eastern culture after a recent Twitter snafu where she offered prayers for Palestinians. Then Israelis. Then everyone.

She later posted a "Whoops, My Bad!" on her official blog: "I want to own up to and explain that earlier today I sent out two tweets about saying prayers for the people in Palestine and Israel and after hearing from my followers, I decided to take down the tweets because I realized that some people were offended and hurt by what I said, and for that I apologize."

Kim met with US Ambassador to Kuwait Matthew Tueller on Wednesday in what was probably the least important meeting of his career. Still, her heart is in the right place. A Kardashian insider told TMZ that "Kim wants to be as informed as possible so she can use her celebrity to help those in need and raise awareness about important issues in the area."

Of course, the awareness she is raising is for the Millions of Milkshakes stores that paid for her trip but hey, if a half dozen U.S. Presidents and some of the smartest diplomats of the 20^th Century can't solve the problem maybe a little 'outside the box' diplomacy from Kim Kardashian could work.
