Unfortunately Lindsay Lohan is not off to a good start on her comeback. The actress appeared at the red carpet premiere for Lifetime's "Liz & Dick" and failed to impress the crowds.
With what looks like Jessica Rabbit inspired long red hair, Lohan worked the red carpet in a gold Donna Dashini dress. The dress, however, did not work for her. A thin and tacky material that looked more like a slip, the dress featured cut outs that ran from her cleavage to her belly button. If the cut outs (and what appears to be lack of a bra) wasn't enough, the center of each cut out featured a dangling red crystal that looked like it could have been from a leftover hippie beads.
On top of the dress fail, Lohan's latest flick is being called a "half train wreck, half 'SNL' skit."
Less that spectacular reviews have come pouring in over the TV movie, which is set to air on Lifetime at 9 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 25.
Entertainment Weekly called the film a "dinky" and "tin-eared production," and had even worse things to say about Lohan's performance. EW's review wrote, "no effort seems to have gone into Lohan's preparation other than tinting her eyes Liz-violet."
Meanwhile the Hollywood Reporter has said that you don't want to miss "Liz & Dick" because it's an "instant classic of unintentional hilarity." They added that "drinking games were made for movies like this," and "the best part is that it gets worse as It goes on."
Fortunately, Lindsay Lohan revealed to Us Weekly that, "I don't regret anything I've done."
"I want to be known as an ac tress, not a troubled starlet," she revealed.
