Keira Knightley On Posing Topless In Allure: 'I Don't Mind Exposing My Breasts'

Keira Knightley may be topless on the December cover of Allure magazine, but she says she really doesn't "mind exposing her breasts because they're so small - people really aren't that interested!"

"I'm quite rigorous about what gets exposed," the 27-year-old British actress told the magazine. "No bottom half!"

The star of the upcoming film "Anna Karenina" has been the subject of body discussions in the media many times - especially after a dramatic weight loss in 2007. Her super-skinny physique prompted reporters to question whether the star had an eating disorder, though most insiders believed the former model was just naturally small-boned.

"I had lost weight," she said in a 2007 interview with People magazine. "We were filming 'Pirates of the Caribbean' in searing temperatures and shooting fight scenes in which you were wearing a wetsuit underneath a load of corsets, fighting with heavy weights in the water." 

As rumors swirled, the engaged star became plagued with self doubt. "I knew I wasn't anorexic. But maybe my body is somehow not right," she told Allure. "Or my face is not right. Or the way I speak is not right."

"When you're going through a period where you're really getting a lot of criticism, you go, 'Maybe all this is right!' You just kind of want to hide it all."

No longer. Now the beautiful brunette is showing off what she has - or doesn't have. "They always pencil in my boobs," she laughed. "I was only angry when they were really droopy. For 'King Arthur,' for a poster, they gave me these really strange droopy tits ... I thought, well if you're going to make me fantasy breasts, at least make perky breasts."
