New York LOVES One Direction! The "X Factor" UK boy band has caused mass chaos around the "Today Show" studio in midtown Manhattan as they performed a free outdoor concert for the morning talk show.
Made up of Liam Payne, Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, Zayn Malik and Niall Horan, the One Direction boys performed to reportedly the biggest crowd that the Today Show Plaza ever had. With some fans waiting five days outside of the studio for the chance to catch the "X Factor" success story, they were treated to a total of six songs; three to be aired live on Tuesday, Nov. 13 and the remaining three to air the following day on Wednesday, Nov. 14.
One Direction performed, "What Makes You Beautiful," "Live While You're Young" and "Little Things," off of their highly anticipated second album, "Take Me Home."
Besides the scream worthy performance, One Direction also announced some exciting news...on August 30, 2013 the group will be releasing their "first ever movie" in 3D!
