‘Vampire Diaries’ Season 4 Spoilers: What To Expect From Episode 2 Tonight, ‘Memorial’

"Vampire Diaries" fans better prepare for some teen vampire drama. Episode two of season four, "Memorial" airs on the CW tonight, and we have some scoop on what's in store for our favorite supernatural group.

"Vampire Diaries" fans will remember in last week's season premiere that Elena completed her transition into a vampire, and Pastor Young exterminated the Mystic Falls council with an explosion. This week we will find the Mystic Falls residents dealing with the aftermath of Elena's new eternal life, and the quick crumble of the council.

According to TV Fanatic, Damon will not only be mourning the loss of Elena (her transition AND her choosing to be with his brother), but will continue to feel lonely over the untimely death of Alaric.

"He's missing his best bro," Ian Somerhalder revealed to TV Fanatic. "But he's also telling those around him: 'I tried so hard to make you guys see my point of view. And now what's happened? Alaric is dead. Elena is dead.' Damon was right. And now he's saying: 'This is who I am. I tried to play nice and know what? It didn't work.'"

Judging from a preview of "Memorial," Damon won't be playing nice with Elena and Stefan. Damon and Elena will be doing something behind Stefan's back...and Stefan will retaliate with something much worse than a stern scolding. Expect a brutal punch to Damon's face!

Other than the return of bad boy Damon, "Vampire Diaries" viewers can expect to be introduced to Connor, the new mean vampire killing machine! Connor will be questioning Mayor Lockwood and Sheriff Forbes, and it appears that our supernatural group quickly realizes that this new vampire hunter is dangerous.

Another new face introduced in "Memorial" will be April, the daughter of Pastor Young. Judging by photos of Elena and crew in church for a funeral, we have a feeling that the reason April is in town is to mourn the loss of her father.

"Vampire Diaries" episode two, "Memorial" will air tonight, Oct. 18 on the CW at 8 p.m.
