The Governator opens up about his previous indiscretions in his new autobiography.
After coming clean about an affair with his housekeeper, with whom he fathered a child, in the early 90's, Arnold Schwarzenegger discusses other indiscretions, namely with Brigitte Nielsen, in his new book, "Total Recall: My Unbelievably True Life Story."
According to Time Magazine, Schwarzenegger had an affair with Neilsen early in his relationship with Maria Shriver, his wife for almost 15 years until they divorced in 2011.
The Huffington Post writes, "He and Shriver were not only dating, but also living together at the time the affair began, but Schwarzenegger writes that he knew the affair with Nielsen would not last. It only made him realize he truly wanted to marry Shriver, according to TIME."
TMZ reported that the affair began while Schwarzenegger and Nielsen were filming "Red Sonja" in 1985, a year before he married Schriver. Nielsen actually announced the affair in her autobiography last year, but Schwarzenegger didn't confirm the rumor until now. In her book, Nielsen did say that she didn't know that Schwarzenegger was dating Shriver.
CNN also writes that, in his new book, Schwarzenegger also opens up about the exact moment Shriver discovered his affair with his housekeeper. ""The minute we sat down, the therapist turned to me and said, 'Maria wanted to come here today and to ask about a child - whether you fathered a child with your housekeeper Mildred,'" the passage reads. "I told the therapist, 'It's true.'"
