Kim Kardashian doesn't want younger sisters Kendall and Kylie Jenner to follow in her footsteps. Not that we can blame her, the 31-year-old -- who recently divorced ex-husband Kris Humphries was married to music producer, Damon Thomas, by 20, and shot a sex tape with R&B singer Ray J at 23 -- which was later released by vivid Entertainment in 2007.
The National Enquirer is reporting, Kim "is pleading with her teenage half-siblings to focus on their studies instead of pursuing showbiz careers," urging them to pave a path to college instead of the entertainment industry.
"Kim assured Kendall and Kylie that the work will always be there, but they only have one shot at enjoying their teen years," a source told the tabloid magazine. "She actually told them, 'Don't follow in my footsteps!'"
The reality starlet is reportedly so desperate to convince her siblings, she enlisted the help of current beau, Kanye West. He "had a heart-to-heart with the girls and kindly promised to give them jobs if they can't find work after finishing school," Kim allegedly said.
Momager Kris Jenner, is said to be "hopping mad" over the news because she wants to continue to basque in the limelight of her synthetically-lit offsprings.
Kim was recently denied a star on Hollywood Boulevard's Walk of Fame for her lack of, well, Hollywood movies.
"Part of criteria in being honored is receiving awards such as Emmys, SAG Awards, Oscars, etc. in the category of television, live-stage performance or motion pictures," a chamber of commerce rep told the Hollywood Reporter. "They have to have a career in the business of acting for five years or more."
In a recent episode of Oprah Winfrey's show "Oprah's Next Chapter," the TV mogul asked Kim the mother of all questions, ""Would you be where you are had there not been a sex tape?"
To which she replied, "You know, I think that's how I was definitely introduced to the world."
