Mark your calendars devoted "Twilight" fans! Summit Entertainment and Fandango announced that you can buy your tickets to "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn -- Part 2" in advance...six weeks in advance to be exact!
No need to break out your fangs this year in order to get a ticket to see one of the first showings of the latest and final "Twilight" film. At midnight on Oct. 1 fans of the vampire series can go onto Fandango.com to purchase advance tickets for the highly anticipated film when it's released on Nov. 16.
The extra early advanced ticket sales follow a survey conducted by Fandango that named "Breaking Dawn -- Part 2" as the "most anticipated movie of the fall season."
Summit has yet another treat for "Twilight" fans. The film company will be hosting a "Twilight Marathon" on Nov. 15, the day before the "Breaking Dawn -- Part 2" release. According to the Hollywood Reporter, "Twi-hards" will be able to watch the first four films in the franchise before the premiere, "Twilight," "New Moon," "Eclipse," and "Breaking Dawn -- Part 1." At midnight, the "Twilight Marathon" will then premiere the final film, "Breaking Dawn -- Part 2."
Robert Pattinson and co-stars Peter Facinelli, Jackson Rathbone and Elizabeth Reaser recently premiered a brand new trailer for the final installment of the series at the MTV Video Music Awards in early September.
The group of actors thanked fans for their loyalty and support for the series before giving screaming fans the chance to catch a sneak peek of what lies ahead for Bella, Edward and Renesmee.
"I've had a bad habit of underestimating you," Edward tells his new wife Bella in the trailer. "Every obstacle you've faced i think you couldn't overcome ... and you just did."
Viewers see Bella zipping through the woods and enjoying other new vampire activities...like jumping off water falls, chasing deer and taking down a mountain lion.
"My time as a human was over," she voices as viewers watch her plunge off a cliff. "But I never felt more alive."
Unfortunately the final installment in the "Twilight" series isn't about all the good times that Bella and her new family will have for eternity though.
"I thought we would be safe forever," Bella says, watching little Renesmee grow. "But forever isn't as long as I had hoped."
The "Breaking Dawn" trailer shows Irina of the Denali Coven (who already had issues with Bella) going to the Volturi to inform them that "The Cullen's have done something terrible." The "terrible" thing Irina enlightens them of is Renesmee, who she believes is an immortal child (a human child who has been turned into a vampire).
Que the drama! Alice warns the rest of the Cullens that the Volturi is coming for them, Edward seeks help for his family from other vampire covens, Jacob round up the rest of his wolf pack to fight, and some wild vampire can be seen chasing down Renesmee.
The end of the new "Breaking Dawn Part 2" trailer gives fans a final glimpse of what to expect ... a bound to be deadly show down between the Cullen family and the Volturi.
