It’s A Boy For Nick And Vanessa Lachey

Vanessa Lachey --  who seemed to be with child for longer than the expected period is pregnant no longer. The T.V personality and husband Nick Lachey, welcomed baby boy Camden John Lachey on Wednesday, Sept. 12.

The little tyke was born at "6:54 p.m" and clocks in at a healthy " 8 lbs., 9 oz. and 21 inches."

"We are incredibly proud to announce the birth of our beautiful baby boy, Camden John Lachey," the elated couple announced in a statement to People magazine. "Love has truly been redefined for both of us."

Nick - who married Vanessa back in June 2011, reveals his marriage is effortless. "It doesn't feel any different, which I think is a great thing - I think that means it
was good to begin with," the singer explained. "We're just very comfortable and happy in our life together, so now we are back to work and back to the routine."

Of their wedding day, Lachey revealed, "It literally took my breath away," when he saw his wife making her way down the aisle towards him in a two-piece Monique Lhuillier bridal gown."It's a moment you fantasize about, and I was certainly not disappointed."

Ultimately, it was a pow-wow with Nick that helped Vanessa in choosing her dream wedding gown.  "I probably had half a dozen fittings and I was just so lost," Vanessa explained about her quest  for her dress. "I finally decided to ask Nick and said, 'What do you want to see me in when you marry me and I become Mrs. Lachey?'" she mused. "I thought I would get some generic guys' answer but he sat up in bed and told me he loved me with my hair down ... and wanted me in something traditional but with a modern flair."

Instead of a honeymoon the couple opted for a mini-moon in St. Barts, due to conflicting work schedules. "We just wanted something relaxing," they said. "We weren't necessarily able to take our dream honeymoon because of timing, but we'll take this mini-moon and do that one later."
