Blond bombshell Jessica Simpson is running out of time!
We're talking about the country crooner's $4 million dollar contract with Weight Watchers which requires her to shed 20-30 pounds by the end of this month.
So far, the singer has been sticking to a healthier weight regimen, ditching her beloved scotch for some good ole' H20.
"Responsibility has drastically changed my life!" she wrote on her Twitter page. "Saturday night drink of choice.... WATER!"
But Simpson isn't starving herself to reach her weight goals. "[Weight Watchers] focuses on healthy habits for the long-term (and I can still indulge in my guilty pleasures every now and then, too)," she recently expressed via Facebook. "I have actually gotten a group of friends together who are going to be doing it with me."
While pregnant with daughter Maxwell Drew, Simpson basically went on a junk food binge. "I had a buttered Pop Tart this morning," she told 'Extra' host Mario Lopez. "I'm eating a lot of stuff that I ate in my childhood. Kraft Mac n' Cheese, Pop Tarts, Cap'n Crunch. Everything's filled with sugar."
As motivation, the " Take My Breath Away" singer bought a pedometer. "Just bought all the girls in my @weightwatchers group pedometers to track their steps," Simpson tweeted. "10,000 steps a day = 5 miles! Let's step it up!"
"There's not a goal weight - I just want to feel normal and fixate on inches," she told People magazine. "I really want to set small goals, so I'm constantly reaching goals and not looking at something so far ahead."
