Camila and Matthew McConaughey’s First Encounter

You would image the newly-married Camila and Matthew McConaughey met at some glamorous Hollywood event, but you'd be wrong. The couple's first encounter was no fairy-tale, at least not the setting anyway.

 "We met at Hyde, of all places," Camila McConaughey told Access Hollywood. Hyde is a popular bar in West Hollywood where locals and celebs tend to mix.

The Brazilian stunner didn't recognize McConaughey at first. "We had two interactions at the bar," said Mrs. McConaughey. "The first interaction, I did not know who he was. At the time he had a really long beard, and he had this rasta hat. He was all covered up, and I didn't really realize who he was."

But when she saw Lance Armstrong, his partner in crime, and former professional road racing cyclist, everything aligned itself.

"Lance came to talk to me," she said. "You knew they were always together, so I'm like, OK, I'm outta here. I'm going to the other side of the room!"

Evidently, she didn't stray too far, because the two recently married, have two children together, and a baby on the way.

"After having two back to back, it takes you a while to get out of the cloud and to feel normal again and to think straight," Camila expressed. "I was really trying to push it back as much as I could. But it was time."

One thing we'll say for sure is that Camila definitely picked the right partner in McConaughey, and we have a feeling he feels the same about her."I always wanted to be a father and thought it would be great, but it just took the right woman and the right time to make it all happen," he said.
