Oprah Winfrey Loves To Transform Her Look By Trying New Hairstyles

She's a mogul, a trendsetter, and one of the most influential figures in the world, but she's also a woman who gets a kick out of trying new hairstyles.

"I wanted to wear it close-cropped, à la Camille Cosby, but her husband Bill convinced me otherwise. 'Don't do it,' he said," said Winfrey. "You've got the wrong head shape and you'll disappoint yourself.' I took his advice."

We think that was a wise choice!

Even her beloved pets are used to getting dolled up. "I even notice a change in my dogs when they get their summer cuts: they're friskier and livelier," she revealed in the September issue of O magazine.

 Winfrey evoked Diana Ross on the August cover issue, which will hit newsstands Aug. 7. The 58-year-old donned a blue sequined frock, and looked utterly glamorous with her untamed locks spread over her shoulders.

She admitted to wearing her natural tresses on weekends and vacations, and think trying different styles is a great vehicle for self expression.
