Last week, we were left searching for some semblance of the captivating "True Blood" that we used to know, but this week's episode "Somebody That I Used To Know," has completely replenished our thirst. And oh, it tasted so good!
Were we seeing double? A hospitalized Luna unintentionally morphed into Sam. We hope her metamorphosis wasn't the last of her because we truly want to see where producers will take her story line. Has Emma found a new shifter daddy in Sam? Speaking of Sam, his performance was just laced with humor last night, we were in stitches over his feminine gait.
Hoyt has turned into a sniveling man-child with all the "why doesn't Jessica love me anymore," and frankly, we're over him. But one thing we were grateful for was their honest dialogue. "So, why don't you love me anymore?" -- "I wanted to love you. I even prayed for it to come back. It just didn't."
We hope Hoyt found some closure and will hopefully move on. But, judging by that gun that was aimed at his mug, he just might be moving on to the other side. Oh, did we mention that his new anti-sup buddies kidnapped Jessica, tied her to a room, and forced him to give her the true death with a wooden bullet?
Bill seemed to have embraced his dark side, suggesting to the Sanguinistas that they destroy all five of the True Blood factories, which would force mainstreamers to feed on humans. To Quote Eric, they were "high as kites," and we are hoping that this new found Bill was the result of Lilith's super addictive hemoglobin.
Sookie who? It was all about Rikki last night, at least according to Alcide. The wolfy-duo fogged our TV screen with a series of acrobatic make-out sessions. Well, they more than made-out, if you get our drift!
Lafayette agreed to perform a pretend séance for Terry at Arlene and Lauren's requests, but not before they shelled over $300. Being a medium, the séance went from make-believe to reality as the ghost of the Iraqi woman who cursed Terry and his war buddy, Patrick, took over Lafayette's body. The good news is she agreed to lift the curse, the bad news, one of them must die.
With some brotherly coaxing, Jason talked Sookie out of depleting her Fae abilities. With the company of a few Faes, the brother-sister duo decided to visit the site their parents were killed in an attempt to discover the truth. Somehow, Sookie astral projected to the past and found herself in the body of her parent's killer, not only witnessing the slayings but also taking part in them. Later, the vampire, which we learned is called "Warlow," materialized in Sookie's bathroom and gave her the scare her life "I'm coming for you... You are mine!" He said.
