Katie Holmes And Suri Continue To Take New York

Actress Katie Holmes, 33, and daughter Suri, 6, left the borough of Manhattan on Saturday and landed at the Bronx zoo.

The fashionable little tot seemed in good spirits as she tended to the giraffes, while an equally happy Holmes watched the adorable feeding session.

After her much-publicized divorce to mega-super star Tom Cruise, 50, Holmes has tried to give her daughter some normalcy by taking her on numerous New York City excursions. The mother-daughter duo has been photographed at the museum, noshing on ice cream cones, and even dodging the rain in the meat-packing district under the comfort of their stylish umbrellas.

Since the divorce, Holmes has been especially focused on reviving her movie career.

"I'm ready to take on some more challenging roles," she said."I worked so much at such a young age that I really wanted to have life experiences. I feel more balanced now and think I have more to bring to the table. I always felt I wanted to catch up [in my personal life] with what I was doing [in my career],"

She is also concentrating on her clothing line, "Holmes and Yang," which will be featured at New York Fashion week this fall. Her split from Cruise has proven to be quite profitable. According to Fox News, Barneys stores in both New York City and Los Angeles claimed that her line "has been selling particularly well," due to the media coverage she has been receiving.
