In lieu of a lengthy nap during a 10-hour flight from Los Angeles to London, actor Jeremy Renner, 41, found himself, er, awake. "The Bourne Legacy" hunk mistakenly popped Viagra instead of the sleep-inducing Ambien. He claimed to have gotten the pill from a friend.
"I had to get off the plane to go to work, so I had to sleep on the plane," Renner recently admitted on Jimmy Kimmel Live! "So I take a little sleeping pill, pop it and realize nothing's happening - but something else was happening."
"Not only did I not sleep the entire flight," added Renner, but he also had to shield the rest of the passengers from what he described as a "camping" condition. Luckily, the flight attendants got wind of the elevated situation and provided him with plenty of ice during what probably seemed like more than a 10-hour flight.
To make matters worse, the star was terrified to leave his seat "There was no walking, If I had to go to the restroom, it was so embarrassing."
We hope this friend wasn't playing a practical joke on Renner, but, he sure took it in stride.
"The Bourne Legacy" will be released on August 10, 2012.
