Chris Colfer, otherwise known as Kurt on "Glee" has been busy. In addition to singing, dancing, acting and accessorizing on the musical and high school dramedy, Colfer has penned a screenplay and now a children's novel. Colfer's book is titled "The Land of Stories: The Wishing Spell" and is out today.
"The Land of Stories: The Wishing Spell" is an action adventure tale that incorporates familiar fairytales into its unique narrative. At more than four hundred pages -- it's not a quick read. And it wasn't a quick project either. In interviews Colfer has explained he's been working on the book in some capacity since he was ten, an age when most kids are still reading fairytales.
Because Colfer wasn't busy enough he also acts as the voice on The Land of Stories' audio book, so "Glee" fans will be able to listen to Kurt tell them stories of magical creatures. Now that the novel has been released to the public Colfer admits he's nervous about others reading it saying, "knowing that it's going to be in most of the bookstores ... it's nerve racking."
