The shortest of the Kardashian clan, Kourtney Kardashian, welcomed baby girl, Penelope Scotland Disick, on Sunday at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, reported E! News.
The newest Karsdashian weighed 7 lbs., 14 oz., Kourtney is just the latest of an onslaught of celebrities to have opted for an all-natural birth. It's her second child with her reality star boyfriend, Scott Disick, 29, their first born, Mason, was born two years ago.
"Scott and I are overjoyed to welcome our precious angel Penelope Scotland Disick into our lives. We are forever blessed. Mommy and baby are resting comfortably," said the 33-year-old.
"I am excited to have a girl, to have a new experience, I'm really excited for Mason to not have to compete with a little brother!" she expressed on her reality show, "Keeping Up With the Kardashians."
According to Us Weekly, The entire family was cheering Kourtney on during what momager, Kris Jenner, described as an "easy" delivery. "[Penelope] is so cute. She looks just like Mason. She's so beautiful. We are so happy," continued the beaming grandmother.
Though, Kourtney did admit that pregnancy was a little more difficult the second time around. "I feel really good ... [though] this time I had a little more morning sickness. I think it's a little bit harder being pregnant when you have a toddler I'm chasing after. Last time I could nap more."
Younger sister Khloe, who has unsuccessfully tried to conceive in the past, is thrilled over Penelope's arrival. "I have bought Kourt's daughter so many tutus," she said. "All I want to do is dip my niece in glitter and put a tutu on her!"
According to mommy, brother Mason, is also excited about his new baby sister, "Babies are his new obsession!"
Congrats Kourtney and Scott!
